Can you be carefree carefully

throw caution to the wind

while holding onto the rim

Can I be carefree carefully

not a care in the world

and sometimes my brow is furled

Can we be carefree carefully

what’s meant to be will be

yet let’s also clean up air and debris

Will you be carefree carefully

Don’t worry just be happy

and sometimes you’ll fee really crappy

Will I be carefree carefully

be myself while in the now

consideration and preparation also allow

Will we be carefree carefully

accept each other for who we are

yet with unkindness and deceit have a bar

May you be carefree carefully

throw caution to the wind

and to the ground be pinned

May I be carefree carefully

not a care in the world

lessons and awareness around me swirled

May we be carefree carefully

what’s meant to be will be

yet committed to our safety and the trees
